+HEADLINER KEYNOTE: THE SECRETS OF ORGANIZATIONAL STORY TELLING WITH MIKE BONIFER

Organizational storytelling is an emerging science that accounts for how the stories of an organization and those of its employees and customers connect, influence behaviors and shape the future. Additionally, it uncovers stories that no one is telling or would hear otherwise.

Companies and teams who put their work in the context of a co-created story share a sense of purpose, can self-organize, make aligned decisions, and solve
problems faster, because they solve them collaboratively. They have a sense of tempo, know when to be patient, and when to cut to the chase. Job satisfaction is high, because everyone loves a good story. Especially when they have a voice in it.

Every object and occurrence in our known worlds have language to describe them. Every word has meaning. Your challenge (and alsoour opportunity) is that most of those words don’t originate with you or your organization. They come from the voices of your customers and other stakeholders.

Join Mike Bonifer as he shares with you how you can connect at network scale with those voices and the stories they tell in order to help you shape and achieve your vision of the future.

+AN EVENING WITH VINT CERF AND FRIENDS: THE PEOPLE CENTERED INTERNET

Join Vint Cerf - one of the father's of the internet, Mei Lin Fung - God Mother of CRM, and a few more special guests for a historic evening panel on the future of the internet -The People Centered Internet.

The Internet can be a powerful means to continuously improve people’s lives. It deepens the layers of connections between countries, communities, businesses, social benefit enterprises and international agencies. The movement behind the People Centered Internet recognizes that the greatest barriers to digital opportunity are both social and economic, and that the heights of these barriers require us to “think anew and to act anew.” (A. Lincoln, 1862)

The Internet is a powerful instrument for two essential complementary movements: Empower People – augment their human capital (health and education), raise their collective voice and improve the business and natural environment. Transform Institutions and Organizations (public agencies, businesses, civil society organizations) – engage the power of Internet and digital technologies with social intermediaries, innovators and connectors. Community leadership and civil society organizations are crucial in augmenting the voice of the global poor and all others left out, with the social connections and digital literacy to benefit from universal, affordable, open and safe access.

Uptake of the Internet is deeply dependent on what it enables, socially, educationally and financially, for the people of the world. We must pay attention to how to provide dignified and respectful Internet access for the disabled, elderly, homeless, migrants, poor and non-English speakers. Investments in physical infrastructure and development of business models must be adapted to achieve inclusiveness and the development of applications serving the needs of a diverse population of users. The Internet we need has a set of properties we set out below:
Desirable properties of the People-centered Internet:

Complete universal Internet coverage that enables functionality that is otherwise unreachable or ineffective
The Internet is affordable, open, available and accessible to all
Fosters digital literacy, local content in local language to achieve widespread usage and increased value to people, families, communities and countries
The system achieves a level of trust that meets the users’ expectations of affordability, privacy, safety
The quantity and quality of educational and information services is increasingly available to families and communities
Anyone can contribute to improvement of the utility of the global Internet.
Personal information in the digital environment is protected by law and controlled by the individual

+THE 6TH ANNUAL SUPER NOVA AWARDS

Join us for the 6th Annual SuperNova Awards and Dinner Gala!

The Constellation SuperNova Awards are the first and only awards to celebrate the leaders and teams who have overcome the odds to successfully apply emerging and disruptive technologies for their organizations. We at Constellation know advancing the adoption of disruptive technology is not easy. Disruptive technology adoption often faces resistance from supporters of the status quo, myopia, and financial constraint. We believe actors fighting these forces to champion disruptive technology within their organizations help, not only their organizations, but society as a whole to realize the potential of new and emerging technologies.

This annual search for innovators includes an all star judging panel, substantial prizes, invite-only admission and speaking opportunities at Constellation's premier innovation summit - Connected Enterprise.
